Besides having your own email host, Rackspace is $2/mailbox.
You can split your MX records and use your own server for your non-important emails, then have them setup and pull in through Gmail, almost like using Outlook.
I just setup Google Apps myself after dealing with enough BS from Rackspace. I had 5 or so other email accounts that I wanted to use and just decided to set those up as an alias through Google Apps and reply from my email address. At the end of the day, no one is going to care if they emails jobs@yourdomain and get a response from
[email protected]
Just create filters and labels for each incoming email and it will make life easier.
