Actually I learned about the situation from a friend that works as a consultant for mostly Pacific Northwest and Alaskan Indian tribes that have strong commercial interests in fishing standing to be hugely impacted. Hardly a kook, he has only shared facts, not speculations.
You must have missed that class in high school science class about
ocean currents , the effects on weather, evaporation and precipitation, etc.
