Where to go from here? I've googled my way to very few content sites that accept contributions. Should I start my own content store?

It's a pity, an industry of fools who devalued content and overvalued traffic and here we are today where only 1 in 10,000 visitors to a pay site will join. It was never easy to be a successful shooter, too many believed it was just a matter of buying a cheap camera and lights and snapping pictures of a pretty girl. A skilled shooter knew how to draw the sexuality out of an inexperienced model, she has to look at the camera as if she was seducing the viewer. I had no problem doing this, I'm not a great photographer, many much better than me but I was much more successful because I understood what the customer wanted. Whether I was shooting for the top glossy mags or the amateur stuff for Readers Wives it's all the same. A shame more never understood this. We turned down many a program, wanted 10 sets per day and matching video for peanuts. We had no problem selling 3 or 4 sets from a day's shooting to the magazines and then put those in the shop and could sell the set 10 times non-exclusive, often many more times than that. Enough for me to retire comfortably. Of course my advice falls upon deaf ears, not many ears left anyway as you can see by how many companies are left.
