I never understood why people owned trucks, but for some odd reason about three years ago I decided to buy myself an old truck. I thought it would be good for a third car in the event we needed it, and we could haul stuff if needed. I'm not sure why, but once I decided to buy a truck I knew exactly what I wanted - an older Chevy Stepside. I found one locally for sale; The kid who owned it had turned it into a mud truck, jacked it up, and put big ass mud tires on it. I am a computer geek, not a mechanic, and I fixed as much as I could and had a repair shop do the rest. I also had it painted. It's twenty-five years old, has 160k miles, and runs like it's brand new.

It's come in handy hauling stuff, and the four wheel drive is lots of fun.

A few years after buying the truck and fixing it up, I decided I liked four wheel drive and decided to buy a jeep.

The fucking Jeep has lighted cup holders. It's come in handy a few times. One time at a campground we got lost the road was less of a road and more of a wide trail, and another time we were meeting someone at the local lake and there is no way a regular car could have made it.

However, I miss the Mustangs and always wanted a convertible. I am looking for a 2004 Mustang GT convertible, red, and when I find one in decent condition I'll snatch it up.
