its about keeping it to themselves. Here in North America, gay/lesbian/bi/trans/etc love to SHOVE it in everyone's faces and crave attention to their orientation in public events. You don't see straight people donning thongs, tassels, chains, leathers etc out in the streets with flags do you? That's all this is about, not promoting it... and I think Russia (as old as their laws may be) are valid. We had these laws here too, and it served well, we never had to have this blasted in our faces all over but many whiners changed that and make it a "good thing" to hold gay parades... it's disgusting. Straight or not.. nobody needs to see a man in a thong walking down main street waving a flag screamig "im gay/straight/tri/trans!!!"
if a straight couple were making out and barely dressed in public, they'd get the same flak as a gay couple.. least it happens less with straight couples and when caught, they feel bad or stop doing it.. gays don't.. they fight the current and want attention while claiming "its because im gay!".. No.. its not.. its because you are gross and have no sense of common decency..
