Regarding prices, Budapest is not an expensive city at all, compared to the Western Europe is quite cheap, of course there are some expensive clubs, restaurants etc. depends what you are looking for. I am a foreigner and I'm living here for more than 3 years, and I had no big problems, nor with taxi drivers or in bars, clubs, pubs and I don't speak Hungarian so I wouldn't worry about anything. But of course is better to take safety measures all the time when you are visiting a new city.

The P2 strip bar is right across our office, but I never been there, feel free to hit me up when you are here and we can have a few drinks.
