either i had a very weak case of it or didn't have it at all but the ringing went away eventually. My hearing is fine but I'm much more careful with my ears now. the stupid part is most of the damage came from going to live shows, but if you wear ear plugs it actually improves the sound not interfere with it.
I understand the adrenaline people get from going to loud shows but it really doesn't make sense logically, there is no reason for amps to be as loud as they are.
