If it hits me when I'm working, I just put on the headphones and listen to rythmic stuff, or funk - Red Hot Chili Peppers works great. But nothing bombastic, because it seems to "summon" the tinnitus music...

I had a medical/insurance evaluation once when I had to work for a company, and turns out I've become deaf to a frequency or two, which apparently might be the cause...

Either that or the fillings in my teeth are receiving radio/microwaves and making me hear radio stations...

Yes indeed it seems regardless what type of tinnitus is,listening music it increase it,so it seems i can listen only jazz without causing any problems.
