It's even cheaper if you keep a balance in there. I've basically migrated all of my domains from NameCheap, Dynadot, DirecNic, and Moniker to
NameSilo and in the processing of migrating the GoDaddy ones to NameSilo as well.
For me, having a
simple, efficient process for registrations, renewals and transfers is of utmost importance, along with quality of support. The fact they have a consistent pricing schedule and free whois privacy is certainly a nice addition.
All of these registrars trying to impress with a bunch of Ajax, Javascript, hidden sections only revealed on click, etc... usually end up making the process of domain management cumbersome moreso than efficient.
I like a nice simple interface, good support and efficient process. NameSilo beats
all of the others by a country mile when it comes to simplicity and efficiency.
ETA, just went to NameCheap and my first impression is that it was an affiliate blog, not a Registrar. Once you spend a little time there, you realize it is indeed the registrar. I can see where some folks would get confused though.
