Moreover, It's insane that these adults who are insecure in their own sexuality feel the need to get up in front of our youth and tell them to declare their sexuality in some backwards attempt to feel better about themselves (the adults) being gay.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one.
Every gay person I have ever known said they knew from a young age that they were gay. Most of them were just scared shitless about telling anyone. Nobody is forcing anyone to declare anything or live any kind of lifestyle. What they are working for is an environment where a gay person can live openly and not have to worry about being attacked, killed, discriminated against.
These adults that you feel are using kids to make themselves feel better were once these scared and confused kids. They are simply trying to make it easier for these kids.
Should they just keep it to themselves? While everyone else dates, goes to dances, holds hands with their boyfriend/girlfriend etc should someone who is gay just keep it in the closet?
