that's actually what I was thinking.
To all of you "take it to the vet" people. Vet's do not take wild animals. I know this from experience.
I found a young injured crow in our backyard years ago. I was going to kill it but then my wife saw the fucking thing and I couldn't carry out my planned execution.
We spent the rest of our Saturday afternoon calling animal shelters and running around town. Finally, we found a place 45 minutes away that would take the bird but they wouldn't accept it until Monday when someone was there. The bird died Sunday so that was the end of it.
