The mountains of documentary, pictorial, and first hand eye witness evidence. It is part of the German psyche to meticulously document and cost every train, every man woman and child, every bullet. The value of everything stolen and the cost of each transport and subsequent death was accounted for.

The Nazis did not deny the Holocaust took place. They ordered it. They were proud of it. Many of them gave detailed statements and witness accounts as to their part in it. Both in written statements and under oath at the subsequent trials.
