I'm guessing it's just a different approach and different ideas of what a membership site should be, both for customers and owner. If I ran 30-40 sites equivalent to my humble vintage paysite and all other things remaining equal, I'd be fucking rich individually pulling in many millions net profit annually (sadly this is not the case!). But again, for my approach it would be impossible - even with a stable of employees the attention to detail would just not be there.

indeed , making content is big one. and if your sites are big and you have enough employees then management is the key, i guesss, i dont run that many paysites so cant tell more.
