Usually you can make educated guesses based on the differences between the sites with different opinions... but you need a decent sample size. As bitcoin rolls out across more sites it will get easier and easier to see which kinds of sites it is likely to work with and which is it is unlikely to work on. From my POV the number one thing is that any info being provided by people who test-piloted for you is useful. So, take it all with a grain of salt, but don't bite the hand of anyone willing to share their experience (or numbers)
