Reducing chargebacks depends on your business model, obviously cross sales etc drive high chargebacks, but looking at your site from a customers point of view is a good place to start.
The best way to handle disputing chargebacks are to pull as much information as possible on sign up (Ip address, IP location, Device ID, Device fingerprint, full address information etc) This way of the customer ever disputes the chargeback as "card not present" claiming their card was stolen then you can show them it was placed at their address etc.
My experience is in dating sites so we used to pull all images from profiles, messages sent, profile information, aswell and send it all to the bank in the form of a dispute package.

Do work. I have looked people up on facebook to see if their sign up makes sense. Typically women dont sign up for Max Hardcore. We do have a few and after looking at their public profiles I knew they were freaks, and they are still on board months later.
