Yep, California is broke. And yet they are busily doing everything in their power to drive out the mainstream Hollywood movie business (as well as the adult film industry too).
Between unions, fees, regulations, licensing (and the list goes on and on with the govt having it's hand out taking money) in Hollywood...the major studios film just about everything anywhere BUT Hollywood these days.
