LOL taking one little thing i said about the site and being right about that does not make you correct about the main reason for the debate. I was wrong about him being off alexa's radar, thats about it. But that still doesn't make you right about the success of the website.
It is a free site, you are comparing the site to paysite tours. Paysite tours are the last stop before signing up.
If you take into account the amount of paying subscribers on his free website, it wouldnt appear as much of a success as you believe. I can launch a tgp that would get that much traffic in 24 hours
Not only that, his price of membership is 1/10th of a standard paysite so he would need 10x as many subscribers.
If you think this is a long term success, you are mistaken, this is a hobby of his and hes making a bit of extra cash. Comparing them to 400-500 (at $30 a pop) memberbase paysites is ridiculous.

I mean its great we have amateur photographers getting involved in the forum but debating marketing and paysites when you've never done both is rather silly. No?
