I'm an anarchist/atheist, so me "sticking up" for westboro should be seen as a purely logical evaluation, not some biased Christian nut..
The Non-Aggression Principle (NAP) defined: The recognition that it's immoral to initiate or threaten the initiation of force against a person or their property. It's what we teach our children, "Don't hit, don't steal, don't threaten others."
Pretty simple universal shit right? The westboro aren't initiating or threatening the initiation of force against others, even though they're fucking bat shit insane and taking a chance of being killed.
So it's wrong for others (police/law enforcement, your family/friends, etc..) to do the same. I know, it's tough/convoluted/fucked up, but if you think the NAP has any relevance, you can't *initiate* or threaten the initiation of force against them. Use voluntary means instead to combat the problem of ignorance.
