Like I said above, I am applying for a RESIDENTIAL visa (also known as a residence card) which would allow me to stay for a longer period of time. Yes, it would be very easy to just go to Prague and stay there without any papers but that wouldn't help me attain citizenship (which is my long term goal, also stated above). I have done my research, I was just simply asking for advice so thank you for your input.
