I am not familiar with debian squeeze, but I have used debian and freebsd, redhat... Not familiar with centos and heard its a bit different from the others. I would like to stay away from windows servers, but feel it may be a safer option than centos, but as stated above about ubuntu... just cause i can use windows desktop does not mean I am ready to manage a windows server. Also, I like the 3rd party software ready for linux, that many are just not available to run on windows.
