You asked how much a site like this will cost. I am a student at Arizona State University. My major is Computer Information Systems. I am a programmer and a Website Designer. I will build a site similar to any of those that you mentioned for $1500 USD + Hosting Fee + Domain fee (if you don't already have one).

My work flow is simple. We talk or email or skype or whatever and determine the exact specifications of what you want. We agree upon a delivery date. I send you a contract that you to sign and return to me with half of the payment. I build the site and deliver it on the day agreed upon. On delivery day you pay me the remaining 50%, and then the site goes live.
