Well thats an ignorant statement. There is nothing "all american" about having the common sense to stay out of countries that are rife with violence, drug cartels, and poverty levels at such a high rate that tourists from more economically well off countries become a target.
I don't have any plans to visit Pakistan or Somalia anytime soon either...
