Well, this just shows how ignorant you're way of thinking is. That every Americans brain must be controlled by the mass media and that we are all nothing but autonomous drones.
I happen love latin culture. I love the food. I love the women. I love the people. I speak fluent spanish. I've been to many latin american countries. I eat empanadas frequently. I probably eat more flour and corn tortillas than I do bread.
It's not my fault your country is:
a) extremely poor
b) wrought with violence
c) areas controlled by drug cartels
d) government and police forces steeped in corruption
To me those are good enough reasons not to visit your country. If that upsets you, I suggest you talk to your local tourism board and maybe they can come up with a better slogan....like

If other people want to go to your expo. I hope they have a great time, but lets not pretend like its in the same category as visiting Orlando to go to Disney World, or Amsterdamn to take in some prime hookers and weed.
