I'm a good driver, it was in my pickup and after 178k miles I have put on it, it doesn't have any dents in bigger than a ding. Still has the original paint. Driving is LA, that's a sign of a good driver. I pay attention...
For the record, the cop told me that you have to signal when you make a turn, he never said anything about there being anyone near me. He was an asshole and I called him on it. More people need to do that....
