Hi,
This is my first ever post to this forum.
First thing first, I read an educational post of this forum right after registering and got very impressed. Unfortunately, can't remember who wrote it (very sorry), but two things I remember I say and I think a kind GFY user will tell us whose the post it was. Now points, suggested that:
1. Start from making a free site, integrate some traffic and then go make your business site
2. "content is king, traffic is God!"

Well, I'm a programmer/webmaster and have access to girls willing to work. I guess (and could be pretty wrong being an absolute newbie) that I must somehow implement those design patterns about in my program:
1. Start by and affiliate program of some others web site, try sell their product as sidebars of a free blog-like site
2. after getting some traffic, put some contents generated by me and TDD: test to see if it adds to traffic (figure out how generate more traffic, this time by own content)

Now before making a mess I decided to ask you pro, if this is logical to start with?

Please kindly give suggestions how best to start.
