With the long-defunct CCBill program I used to work for, if the link leading from the hosted gallery didn't clearly pass the affiliate ID, it wasn't handed over to the receiving tour pages. Not that that is the only way to handle the passing of info from one page to the next, but to me, it's the surest way to handle it because I can see it in all of the links. It makes me feel safe as an affiliate.
Example, very simple gallery and all links are CCBill links.

Slightly more complicated, many more links, but all clearly pass the affiliate ID.
