Being scared and not trusting are two completely different things.
Do you see them as the same? That's a little sad.
We are scared of things that we don't know or don't understand. I believe our government is capable of a great many stupid, horrible things, as non-Americans point out on GFY on a daily basis. My belief in having the right to be prepared for those stupid, horrible things, makes me the opposite of scared.
