If it's going to auction, there's a good change it will end up in a Hard Rock somewhere.
If he wants to sell it directly and not pay Sotheby's or Christie's commission, he should contact them.
It's a piece of history, but I wouldn't have paid $1 million for it. Maybe $400k.
