I totally agree
This could also be said about Playboy these days. Gone are the days when I would look at Playboy .... studying and analyzing the great photography skills of their shooters. I think better than average Photography is a lost art these days as it relates to adult.

I was privy to a telephone call between Stephen Hicks & Bob Guccione once and Stephen was concerned that with the amount of hardcore stuff Bob was publishing at the time, that Stephens contributions to the magazine would get pushed out and replaced with more hardcore material. Bob assured Stephen that as long as it was his magazine, there would always be a place in the magazine for Stephens "art"! RESPECT...

It doesn't take mad skills in lighting to shoot flat and I think that's one reason so many companies go with it. It's quick, easy and any monkey can do it. And....the members typically don't appreciate the skills that it takes to do anything more. With your skills Jay, you should be shooting high end mainstream. That's the only place that will really appreciate your cinematic talents IMO!
