Yeah, I know... just fucking with you. And, I think we paid about $10k less than that anyway.
While I wouldn't pay $75k for that Camaro, because I'm not into car track days, I definitely have a few friends that would. One of my buddies was actively trying to get one... not sure if he had any luck or not, I think they are sold out of the ones they have produced already.
But, if you are into track days or racing, and you take a "base" SS Camaro, beef up the suspension, wheels and tires, lighten the load, add ceramic brakes, do some engine mods for an extra 75 or so hp, and you'll probably be over that $75k anyway, so this car would be a bargain... again, if you're into that.
Personally, I do/did all of my track days on a motorcycle, and prefer it that way. However, I am signed up for the Ron Fellows Corvette Owners School at Spring Mountain track this coming September... so I'll see how I feel after that.
