Usually only a week at a time. This is mostly because my wife works and we have a kid in school.
We tend to take smaller short vacations to Southern California to see family.
Vacations are a huge pain in the ass for me. Kid wants to do one thing, wife wants to do another, and I just want to spend time on the beach.
