Oh the horror of it all! And people screamed then about how it would affect the "kids".
As a kid at that time I can answer that: We thought it was cool as shit! Just like kids today think Miley Cyrus is cool as shit.
That's the way we like our "rock stars". Bad behavior and tunes we can sing along with.
There's nothing new under the sun...except for society's fake "outrage" at everything Miley Cyrus does. ESPECIALLY since we all had our own bands and stars that we admired when we were young and our parents hated.
It's just hypocritical.
"Hey kids of today...when I was young I LOVED the bands and stars that acted out and did drugs and were rebels. But YOU....you can't have that. We only want YOU to enjoy nice, boring, bands and singers that are politically correct and act like pussies."

There's a huge difference, and you know it...
Back in the 70's & 80's you actually had to go to a concert to see it. They didn't show it on TV and there was no internet or youtube and the like where this garbage is shoved in little kids' faces at every turn.
How many kids went to motley crew concerts, and how many kids go on youtube?
Acting like there isn't a difference to the level of exposure is nothing more than blatant ignorance.
But wait until you have a daughter, then you'll notice how every single one of these so called "teen idols" do nothing but teach people to be whores and sluts. Or you won't, and I'd truly feel sorry for your daughter.
