Had you been anywhere near that country you'd know Niger Delta oil is almost entirely controlled by western companies already, protected by American, British and South African PMCs.

What's the point of an official military intervention bringing spotlight to the region (assuming it's a possibility, which it isn't) when the oil is already discretely ours?
