your quality of life is at the top of the world mostly due to the exploitation of the 3rd world and now its all coming back to you...the regions traditionally kept poor by western corporate interests are now experiencing an exodus of un-skilled workers to your countries...
you see the west did not let them develop, most were colonies for 100-s of years, some had oil or diamonds or gold, some had slaves to export to your countries, some were socialist and doing just fine (and this made democracy look stupid) and in any case its all coming back to you whether you want to admit it or not...
