What bugged me was the mom came and looked at the boy and ran off, leaving him to run off on his own - no way in all hell would I have ever turned my back on that baby with something like that going on right there - he'd have been in my arms or I wouldn't have moved. YIKES!! Why did she turn her back on that boy??
I've been attacked by a pit, and while I don't stop and ask the dogs for credentials and I am mortified of the whole damn breed now, I know to blame the owners, not the breed - or dog - whatever - but that's very hard when your body jumps up and takes off on it's own - and there is no time at all to wait and see if the owner was nice to this dog or that dog!
I see the point, but having been attacked - it's not easy to stand there and not be scared from that point on.

She was probably yelling for her husband to come out.
