I am a complete zombie and I have been brainwashed to celebrate the demise of my civilization. My pea sized brain has never prompted me to ponder what would life be like today had my ancestors decided to suicide themselves a few hundred years ago. Would I have my iPhone? Would I have my big screen TV full of low brow programming promoting propaganda and consumerism? Would I have the internet so I can keep up on the latest gossip about the Kardashians and Beyonce, and Lindsay Lohan? Important stuff. I have never pondered what it would be like to live in a country without civil liberties because I grew up eating fruit loops and watching cartoons. The concept of waking up in a country where you can be dragged out of your house by police and never heard from again is not something I can even grasp even though that exact thing has happened to tens of millions of people in the past century. Yes I have been to college. I am smart. No I have never traveled to another country. Oh wait I went to Mexico for Spring break. I am a well rounded person. What is my opinion other issues? Well let me watch a Hollywood movie, a tv show, CNN, NBC, consult with with all my other braindead trendy politically correct and spineless Facebook friends and I will see what those writers and producers and other lemmings tell me what to think and I will get back to you.
