(a) She is wearing a full face of makeup in that pic. It is just not nightclub makeup.
(b) She even has her body worked in music videos, so, if her PR machine is the source, the photo is massively retouched.
(c) She has been steadily getting more stuff done and working out to become a more mainstream-acceptable look. And she has the money and access to get the best.
