36 hours after request was made. 36 hours is 1.5 days. That is a bullshit , since flooding started on last and Thursday (and it was raining days before that and state announced to people that there will be many problems.. So continue to believe in EU statements and bullshit you are reading there. I've just wrote you chronology of events and backed up with dates and link. There were no coverage in western media, what I 've wrote in first post here and member lonerunner did the same in his post(above). If something is not written in your favorite EU media, it doesn't mean it is not happening. You should know that until now.
Every kind of help is welcome, but people were mad reading that kind of shit and reading about boats coming once water is withdrawn in most areas. It reminds me of French military help to fight Austrians on Thessaloniki front when they sent useless artillery ammo ,with wrong caliber. |
It said that they responded within hours and then it said gave a list of who had responded 36 hours after the request was made. It sounds like you misunderstood that part.
The point of the European Union is that each member country agrees to certain terms, such as helping other countries in need. To my knowledge there is no EU task force like with example UN, therefor each member is going to act individually based on whatever was agreed upon. That is why you are seeing different countries providing aid.
Once the disaster have been handled I'm sure that the EU will start working with your country to help planning and probably finance the infrastructure being rebuild.
Its terrible to see everything around you falling apart, I understand your frustration. The way you act is very insulting towards anyone who does help and I'm sure that anyone in your country who had a loved one saved by the help of foreign help would be ashamed of seeing someone represent their country the way you do.
If you wanna help say thanks to the ones who does help and encourage the rest to provide help as well
