NEW ORLEANS -- There's a cute, new adorable addition at the Audubon Zoo's primate exhibit.
A baby Colobus monkey greeted the world with an appropriate name, Habari, which means "hello" in Swahili.
She was born at the end of April, and her birth is critical because her species is threatened in Central Africa due to the destruction of forests and grasslands in the areas in which they roam.
A fun fact - unlike other monkeys, the Colobus does not have thumbs.
Check out Habari at the Audubon Zoo?s World of Primates next time you make a visit.
