no one thing sets them apart.
However i have seen some things that happen in some.
for instance...one friend i have sometimes pays for food delivery with coins he saves up. in a plastic bag, no shame hands it over.
i have another friend, worth a boatload of money, you want to bet he saves up all his empties and takes them back to get his 2.40, i see much poorer people throwing them out.
just today i watched someone i know worth a few million save money, like a buck. by buying garlic in bulk and then spending hours taking it all apart. Yet the same person can cough up 100k to invest in a new business, or throw down on a new apartment being built in a nice part of town.
I think they think of money in a different way often.
