Profits are up for business's because median wages are down.
There are less jobs out there, so people can't leave the jobs they have unless they want to get into lower paying jobs, thus people are stuck and not getting raises. People that are pushed out of good paying jobs are forced to take low paying jobs.
I watch Jon Stewart and even he says this, good paying jobs are being replaced with low to minimum wage jobs. The unemployment rate means jack shit.
Over the years, presidents have made changes to them, I remember when Clinton added the military to the equation to lower the numbers. It wasn't like that before and shouldn't be part of it.
When Reagan left office, we had a little over 4% unemployed, after people said that under Carter, we would never get back to those levels, kinda like the same people that are celebrating that under Obama we are in the 6% level.
The government doesn't count people as unemployed unless they are actively searching.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
