I am more inclined to believe that the attorney felt bad for the little girl and wanted to piss the jury the fuck off with this bullshit to maybe put the final nail on the coffin that will hold the destroyed asshole of his defendant facing a life time of prison? Would be a good course of action to not allow him to cry mistrial, but do a really shitty job at the same time?...
Most attorneys would want to stab him in the face but you have to look at the big picture, the attorney has a golden opportunity to help his client get abused like the worst animal in jail for the rest of his life.
Or he is just a reptile...
