I find it hard to believe that any modern army could lose 1,200 soldiers in a single attack. We no longer live in the days where soldiers line up and trade shots or make useless charges on well entrenched positions.
Waiting too see other sources than some random mayor.. It's almost 12am there but still for that many killed something would of hit a reliable news source by now. At least one would assume so..
