In the big picture at XloveCam, the affiliate cookie is overwritten by the next affiliate's referral link -- so stuffing cookies is of very limited value ... All members (referrals or typeins; Free Signups or Paid In conversions) are database allocated to the referrer for a lifetime rev-share on all of our networked, company owned websites including any white label (XWL or X-Clone). So, you are not cheating other affiliates by cookie stuffing, just wasting your time, further possibly cheating our company. Our bulk ads set our "affiliate cookie" but any affiliate can overwrite our referral cookie with his referral link to his affiliate referral cookie.

So the strategy is simple -- until a visitor/or an affiliate referral is registered as a member they are fair game to all. BTW, on direct access (type ins) we (the house (website owners)) set no referral id cookie -- that customer remains fair game to all until he's registered.

Everyone knows cookie stuffing is officially a banned practice with almost every affiliate program including ACWM/XloveCash.

So, you might as well ask the proverbial "When did you stop beating your wife?" type question ...

My personal view of cookies is that; cookies are an unreliable, outdated and easily abused tracking method that should be limited to trivial items. We are implementing more advanced methods concurrently which for obvious reasons I wont discuss ;0) And we are not talking evercookies -- that is old hat already ..
