Hundreds of soldiers go awol every day. Doesn't make them traitors or deserters. These guys are just young and fact is not everybody is cracked up to be a soldier, let alone live in a war zone.

I'd rather have some guy just walk off and leave during a shit run of the mill detail, then have him stick around and then have a moment of uncertainty in a gun fight.

None of that still means jack shit with the fact that every American needs to be brought home regardless of how or why they were captured. If they need to face UCMJ than thats for the JAG office to decide. Not politicians and certainly not Bill Orielly.
