But that is not what you said.
I have found that most people say what is truly on their mind then make corrections to save face or appearances when it is caught.
Similar to the politicians tweets posted above then retracted to tow the party line.
I am aware that Military Trials are somewhat different then Civil/Civilian Criminal Trials.
Although even what venue they might be tried in was up for debate for a very long time.
Your words had them lined up against the wall in front of a firing squad after a rubber stamped guilty verdict. Maybe you did not want others to take it that way, maybe you did, it is what you implied and it sat there long enough unedited or corrected until I mentioned it.
Was your wording intentional? Only you know that for certain, but what others think was your intention you can not change or control.
