Their eating their dogs/cats is not nearly as problematic as our telling them they cant would be.
It is not our place to impose our values on a society that we do not understand.
I love animals, I eat some of them but it isnt my place to tell anyone what mammal/fish/reptile/bird/amphibian/insect/arachnid/bivalve/ I think you get it by now they can and cant eat
