Android is a LINUX kernel

Most of my workstations here are LINUX.

My windows 7 is a necessary toy. Some software is not ported for LINUX. Most of the government networks in Europe and Asia are LINUX/UNIX -- no backdoors for the FBI or the NSA.

So if you count Android, and if you don't believe me, go to the root directory of a smartphone, tablet or netbook running Android then check out the root directory of a PC running LINUX and you will see they are "cousins." Same family traits but a few attributes are changed.

When you take this into account -- The LINUX kernels are powering 1/3 or more of the user devices out there. Microsoft was right -- LINUX is a cancer and LINUX has gone metastatic (thanks to Google and Android).

[1]Another 10 or 20 years Microsoft will be a foot note in computing history.
