I cut it down to ONE sausage -- more veggies(fill ). One Italian sausage is 15% of your daily allowance of cholesterol -- adds up fast.
If your body (liver function) does not regulate dietary cholesterol to optimum levels, some people can regulate dietary cholesterol, you need to cut dietary cholesterol maybe to 70% of the allowed daily levels.

Your body can produce cholesterol from many low-cholesterol foods, and if your body's cholesterol production is out of wack, that is where Statins like Lipitor (and in lower doses Zocor (simvastatin)) come in.
