I don't know if anyone would be brave enough to do it. We can have tons of movies with people getting their heads chopped off and skinned alive, but I doubt Hollywood would have the nuts to make a movie about a guy who travels across a post apocalyptic wasteland for a sex robot. It would be a good movie to remake, because the original is more of a B movie and kind of crappy -- but the premise is good. Didn't he fall in love with his guide, or something? Long time since I've seen it. That was back when Melanie Griffith didn't look like a monster.
